Mountain Lion Sanctuary Tour: Cougar Run Bridge

Cooper's Rock Mountain Lion Sanctuary wanted to expand by adding new enclosures across Cougar Run, the creek that babbles its way across the sanctuary. But, realistically, they needed a bridge to handle the construction traffic. Thankfully, March-Westin, an engineering and construction company, stepped up to the plate and donated the bridge! The sanctuary -- and, no doubt, Carrie as well -- is extremely grateful for this act of kindness.

March-Westin built the Cougar Run Bridge in the winter of 2001, just in time for the sanctuary to raise The Hillside for Carrie's permanent home.
